The Differences between the Drip Irrigation Belt and the Drip Irrigation Pipe

The Differences between the Drip Irrigation Belt and the Drip Irrigation Pipe

We are all familiar with the drip irrigation, but when it comes to the differences between the drip irrigation belt and the drip irrigation pipe, a group of people may be confused. Today, we will analyze the differences between the drip irrigation belt and the drip irrigation pipe.

The main differences between the drip irrigation belt and the drip irrigation pipe

1. From the appearance, the drip irrigation belt is flat when there is no water and pressure in it, while the drip irrigation pipe is cylindrical;

2. From the form of the dripper, the drip irrigation belt is generally inlaid with a flat dripper, while the drip irrigation pipe is inlaid with a cylindrical dripper;

3. From the perspective of use time, the drip irrigation belt is thinner than the drip irrigation pipe, with shorter use time.

4. From the perspective of water output, the water output of the drip irrigation belt is about 2L/H, and that of the drip irrigation pipe is about 3L/H. The water output of the drip irrigation pipe is greater than that of the drip irrigation belt.

5. From the perspective of investment, the drip irrigation pipe for sale is at a higher price.

Common drip irrigation belts are divided into the labyrinth-type drip irrigation belt and the drip irrigation belt inlaid with patches. The dripper is  integrated with the drip irrigation belt, which is easy to use and low in price.

The drip irrigation pipe is an important irrigator in the drip irrigation system. According to the water requirements of crops, the inline drip pipe is used to evenly and slowly drip water and nutrients needed by crops into the soil at the root of cotton through the low-pressure pipe system and the emitter mounted on the capillary pipe.

The most common drip irrigation pipe is the inlaid cylindrical drip irrigation pipe with a thick wall, long service time and better corrosion resistance than the drip irrigation belt, but the cost is higher.

From the above, we can see the differences between the drip irrigation belt and the drip irrigation pipe. They each have their own characteristics and advantages. Therefore, when choosing to install and use the drip irrigation equipment, in order to select appropriate drip irrigation products, customers not only should consider the planting condition of crops, but also factors such as the service life of drip irrigation products and the effect of water output.
